Musopen is looking for copy editors, reviewers or music theory knowledgable people to help review our open-source music theory book.
At this stage, we are looking for people with music theory experience who would be interested in helping to:
1) Suggest material not covered by our book – compare to other sources and see what we’re missing
2) Help find music examples to add graphics depicting specific notation in the book (for example, a graphic showing the various triads and their permutations)
3) General copy editor – find grammatical mistakes, edit chapters to keep them consistent
4) Author of a chapter – we have some chapters that are in need of an author
You are welcome to do as little or as much work as you have time for, if you are interested please fill out this form and we’ll be in touch soon.
